Mum and Toddler Yoga Glasgow

Yoga Healing is offering Mum and Toddler Yoga Classes at Merry Go Round, 36 Nithsdale Road Glasgow G41 2AN, to bring together mums and give a unique experience to both you and your little one.

Mum & Toddler Yoga pick up where Mum & Baby leaves off and incorporates yoga class for mums and their mobile babies from crawling to 5 years old.

Mum can enjoy her own yoga practice around her active toddler, and while mum is practising her sun salutes, baby may be playing with the other children. Both mum and baby can enjoy all of the benefits of yoga in a welcoming, fun and safe environment.

For Mums, the class is focussed on rebuilding the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor, regaining strength and muscle tone, also helps to reduce back and neck pain and allows mums to exercise and relax along with their toddlers.

For Toddlers, the class offers motor skills development, sensory stimulation, enhance relaxation and helps brain and nervous system growth and develop. Yoga also increases the chance of a better night sleep and enhances the immune system.

A Mum and Toddler Yoga class includes yoga and stretches through a full range of movements. It also involves breathing and is focused on yoga postures-for-two to give mums and toddlers the chance to learn a new way to play and relax together.

No previous experience is required.

All levels of yoga practitioners are welcome along with their little people.
